Quick update for everyone - the project is moving forward at a good pace right now. I've started the production run for the first 25-30 units. There is a new design coming in for the knobs, which I'll share soon. The majority of the work left is firmware.
The Eosynth lets you make sounds that are only available through additive synthesis, in a hardware desktop format. It's based on a patent pending FPGA architecture. This allows you to make many interesting sounds at the same time.
At this point of the project, now is the right time to start opening up with the community more. I've been pretty low key about this project for a while, but decided to post to Instagram.
Please follow differentialaudio on Instagram to get the latest updates regarding development, and some behind the scenes pics. I'll be posting there more often in the near future.
I'll be sending the occasional message to the email list for the next milestones over the next few months, which will include video and sound demos. I'll be making posts to Instagram for lesser milestones, so if you'd like to watch the development of the project please follow.
I've also setup a Discord server for any questions you may have. If you'd like to reach out directly and ask questions about the Eosynth, please do.
Thanks, Eric
